Robert Treman State Park is now our favorite state park in New York.

Letchworth State Park, in NY. Despite the beauty, we were disappointed by this park. All access to the water was forbidden.

We loved paddling on a slow river in Greyling Michigan.

Drove over the Mackinaw bridge to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and visited Castle Rock, St Ignace and the beautiful Mackinac Island.

Driving along and needed to stretch our legs. Lake Michigan.

Our hike to Pictured Rocks on the U.P. was beautiful !!! It caused me some stress trying to get directions to the rocks (GPS didn’t help us), then trying to find a place to park was no picnic (very crowded). But we finally did a 7 mile hike, which was picture perfect!!!

The (very) Bad Lands in South Dakota. Hot and wonderful !

The inspiring Mt. Rushmore blew us away. Then we did a hike and paddle in the Black Hills.
